WP2 - GSE Skills Blueprint & Studium
WP2 develops a comprehensive Green Software Engineering (GSE) Skills Blueprint and an innovative Studium for higher education. It defines core competencies, learning outcomes, and assessment methods, creating structured, modular, and transferable curricula that embed green coding, energy-efficient programming, and sustainable DevOps practices into HEIs.
WP3- GREENByte Hub
This work package designs and implements the GREENByte Hub, an open-access digital platform serving as a central knowledge and collaboration space. The Hub hosts learning materials, tools, case studies, and open-source resources, enabling students, educators, and industry stakeholders to collaborate, share best practices, and advance green software engineering.
WP4- Byte4Green: Battle & Mentorship
WP4 focuses on experiential learning through student battles, challenges, and mentorship programmes. It connects students with academic and industry mentors to address real-life sustainability and software efficiency challenges, strengthening practical skills, innovation capacity, teamwork, and employability in green digital professions.
WP5 - Dissemination, Policy Advocacy & Sustain-iTalks
This work package ensures wide dissemination and long-term impact of GREENByte results. It includes communication activities, policy advocacy, and Sustain-iTalks events that engage HEIs, policymakers, industry, and society, supporting curriculum adoption, policy alignment, and sustainability of green software engineering practices beyond the project lifetime.
